Methodology

Ezymatic (CE, CO, peroxidase)

Specimen Requirements

Draw blood in a gold-top serum gel tube(s). Spin down and send 2 mL (minimum volume:  0.3 mL) of serum.

Allow specimen to clot for 20-30 minutes.  Spin specimen for 20 minutes at 2500 rpm.  Separate serum from cells and transfer to a separate aliquot tube, ship frozen.  Ref: 1 week, froz:4 weeks.
